CEO Update 2026

Inspired by the President's New Year’s address, I encourage every Finnish entrepreneur to do the same. We’re good at setting goals and putting in the work to reach them.

The best part of my work in 2026, as well, is everyday life alongside our customers. I'm grateful to start each day with enthusiasm, joy, and gratitude for the opportunity to learn continuously from committed bookkeepers and accounting firm founders, dedicated finance professionals who form the backbone of the economy.

New jobs are created in small and medium-sized businesses. Public attention often goes to great companies that raise the largest funding rounds, but at the same time, the majority of SMEs grow through cash flow. That’s why proactive financial advisory plays a decisive role.

For many SME CEOs and entrepreneurs, their accountant is the most important financial advisor. That’s why, at riskrate, automation and AI are not goals in themselves; they are tools. Tools that help accountants and accounting firms, and through them SMEs, grow and compete globally.

With riskrate automation, SMEs can cost-effectively access the same level of financial analysis as large enterprises. Today, we serve customers in six countries, three languages, and 30 currencies.

During our first financial year (2025), we developed the product in close collaboration with our customers, and we will continue this work in 2026. We added ready-made premium integrations to domestic and international accounting software. We invested in features that help our customers productize financial advisory services, grow their business, and save time on monthly reporting.
